Darts-ip is currently working on its Design & Model case law database. The database will include decisions from:
- the Community courts
- the National courts
You will be able to search for case law using :

Point of Lawthe tree structure can be compared to the table of contents of a handbook on design & model law. You can use this search function to find decisions in which a design was refused protection due to a lack of novelty or decisions about designs developed by an employee, for example.

Locarno classificationby selecting a specific class of the Locarno classification, e.g. class 21 (games and toys), you will find only decisions about this class of design and model.

Design and model comparisonyou can use this search function to find decisions in which two bag designs were deemed to be different, for example.You can, of course, combine these various search functions in order to find the most relevant results, for example, OHIM decisions from 2009 regarding the novelty of a shoe design (class 2 of the Locarno classification).
